Solo travel

I travelled there alone and it was really amazing ! It is a very crowded place in the summer but my stay still was relaxing and peacefull. I stayed at Pr Močn wich is a really small hostel that I really recommend. It's cheap, really close to the lake and it feels like home. I met so many nice people there ! The main attraction is the lake where you can do kayak, stand up paddle, a boat tour... You can go on the little island in the middle of the lake, where you can find a little church to visit and a really nice place to get ice cream. There are also a lot of hiking trail around there. So if you love nature and calm it's an amazing place to go !

Solo travel

I visited Bled during corona time which meant the city was quite calm and tourist free, which might not be the case now. Nevertheless it’s a lovely small town to visit! I recommend to take the time to just stroll around the lake and admire the views to the mountains, lake. Take a hike up to Ojstrica mountain top to enjoy breathtaking views! If you have time, go and see Soteska Vintgar gorge. To gain back energy, pamper yourself with local sweet delicacy which is called kremsnita cake. All in all I felt very safe in Bled! Great for a solo day travel or spend some more days there.

Bled was a perfect hiking experience! Beautiful sights around the lake for everyone who likes shorter or longer walks. The people were extremely friendly and helpful, even children spoke fluent English. Renting a bike is surprisingly cheap.
