Is Esposende Safe for Solo Female Travelers?

In 2024 I was in Esposende during my school education to become a horse groom and it was really the start for my love to travel. I really enjoyed the new culture, the people and the experiences that I got from it. It also gave me new courage to travel solo to new countries in the future.

•I felt very safe •Esposende Inn, a sports hostel, is in my opinion a great place to stay. They were nice and I felt very safe there. I also mert new people there. It was close to the Beach, the supermarkets and Restaurants. I had a great view from my Window

Is very safe to walk alone and overall is a place a woman can be alone. I never had any issue but like all the places we can’t assure that never will happen something. There is also a clear difference between the Winter and Summer. In the Winter is more quiet and the summer is a lot of more people

People are friendly and very welcoming to foreigners. I've never been robbed, and there were only a few incidents when there were discos (in the Ofir area), but they all closed since COVID. The beach is also safe
