Islamabad is a nice and calm place to live in, everything's laid back here but recently there's been a spike in the population cuz a lot of people have started moving here so it's not as good as it used to be in terms of traffic, but as someone who has lived in Khi, Lhr and Isb, i'd say it's drastically better than these

Varies from neighborhood to neighborhood. For the most part it is quite safe, specially in the locality where I live. Can go for a walk later at night. However wouldn't suggest walking alone as a woman, and would be best to have company while exploring islamabad
