Posted: May 14, 2025Experienced: April, 2024There were a lot of things to do and it was easier on the budget — I felt safe but also keep in mind I traveled with a group and also speak the local language. From hiking to shopping to eating, there were always many things to do and I had the best time

I have lived in Islamabad for 33 years. I have traveled alone during the day and night and haven't felt unsafe. I try to stick to more populated areas though, and steer clear of lesser populated areas
Posted: February 9, 2026It's kinda a safe place, but I never travel solo here so I can't say, you can get cabs all the time plus cafes are cool overall pretty good people do travel solo and wander around, I just never did that here
Posted: February 8, 2026I’ve spent last seven year of my life in the city and I could without a doubt say that this is one of the safest cities for women in Pakistan. I feel safe while walking alone at night and commuting around.
