In general, Malta is quite a safe country, and personally I feel safer here than I did in Russia. Overall quite safe and quiet town/village by the sea with a very long promenade, number of cafe and restaurants, lots of holiday homes, it's a family town, loved by foreigners too. Here we have quite an international community Sometimes there are some builder workers from Turkey or Serbia who meet up on a promenade and talk, they might state at women passing by. Located closer to church or Orient Market shop. Otherwise, most places are chill and safe
