It is overall safe especially in the city center. I like walking around the city and I still feel safe alone also in the evening or night time. Even if you are alone and it's late you should not have any problem

You need to be aware of the surroundings. I usually don't walk alone during dark hours, but if i need to, i park my car close to the city centre and stay on the main roads, where other people are present.

I’d say it’s a pretty safe city, but there are areas that I’d avoid if it was too late or if I was by myself. And if I have to cross those areas I’d walk very fast and I’d suggest you’d do the same.
