How safe is Treviso?

Safety at night:

Safety at night:Safe

Treviso is generally safe at night. It is a small city with a low crime rate. It is not uncommon to see people strolling through the city center well into the evening hours. However, like any place, it’s always important to remain cautious and aware of your surroundings. The areas near the train and bus stations can be a concern at late hours. It is always advisable to use well-lit, busy streets and avoid isolated areas after dark.
Public transportation:

Public transportation:Safe

Public transport in Treviso like buses, trams, and trains are typically safe, reliable, and well-used both by locals and tourists. Though it's a common environment for pickpockets, taking some precautions such as keeping valuables secured on your person will help ensure that you have a safe journey. The transport staff are also commonly helpful and oftentimes multilingual which facilitates communication. The stations are generally well-maintained and sufficiently lit.
Street harassment:

Street harassment:Low

Treviso is generally a safe city for solo female travelers. It's a less-frequented destination with a warm and welcoming community. Street harassment is not a prevalent issue here, but as with any city, it's always recommended to be aware of your surroundings, especially during late hours. Locals are respectful, however, outside downtown areas, very few people speak English.
Petty crimes:

Petty crimes:Low

Treviso is generally safe for travelers. However, just like any other city, it may have its share of petty crimes such as pickpocketing or purse-snatching mostly in crowded places or public transportation. It often happens in busy touristic areas more than less-visited ones. So, it is recommended to stay vigilant, especially when in crowded places, and keep your belongings secure at all times.

Treviso is a small town where crime is relatively low, the center is extremely safe and walking at night alone is not scary at all. It’s better to avoid the station area very late at night anyway. Public transports are safe yet not very frequent

I think Treviso is a fairly safe city, especially during the day. Obviously there are some areas that are less recommended (nearer to the bus and train stations) and after a certain hour you should always be careful.
