I was safe... Because I drove my car too.. maybe.. but most expensive for me .. anyway it was still a great moment and I'll keep remembering it since my death.. some people are amazing... I took rbnb .. safe place...
Posted: June 4, 2025It was quite safe but there were people trying to stop you on the road to make you buy something and if you don't look ahead and walk away they kinda bother you. Other than that it's generally safe as long as you stay on the main roads, until midnight I as a solo traveller felt quite safe although most of the restaurants close by 9-10 so it's a bit too quiet and if you don't like it it may come off as eerie

Went to Pisa to see a long distance friend of mine, i had already been there with my family when i was younger, i remember the main place (where the leaning tower is) was really busy with tourists and the bars near there were expensive, but if you stay for the night and go to the city center (10 min walk from the tower) you will find lots of shops, ice cream bars, etc. There are many many university students from all over italy and they usually all meet up in these bars. I felt safe with my friends both during the day and night, some creepy drunk men at very late night but just dont go near them… overall tho a very beautiful city!!

I found it to be a moderately safe city. The city was quite clean and well-maintained. Having a coffee in front of the tower was a delightful experience. It's a smaller city, easy to navigate. Overall, I enjoyed my time there.
Posted: January 2, 2025Experienced: October, 2024Pisa is a historic town, I didn't experience any other activities apart from looking at the Pisa tower and eating at nearby restaurants. I also visited other cities like Venice during the same trip which offered much more like glass making workshops, gandola rides etc. Also, I got mugged there as someone stole my wallet from by bagpack eventhough it was on my back all the time, till this day I fail to understand how they did it!

I made a quick stop for one night in Pisa while I was on my way to Genova and I loved it. The city is not so big so I easily managed to see most of it in one day. There’s a lot of tourists and people in the street so is pretty safe, but obviously I was always keeping an eye around me. The ticket to visit all the monuments and museums costs €27 and you can use it the hole day, it’s a nice activity for women who travels solo. I stayed in Safe Stay Hostel, staff is super nice and kind, and the place was clean and offer everything you could need. Truly recommend to do a quick stop in Pisa✨

Pisa is a small university town, I feel pretty safe but I grew up here and I know it as my pockets so this is just my experience. Mostly there’s young people/students and tourists. Some squares can feel a little bit unsafe I think mostly because of drunk men but I think overall nothing compared to a big city.

Pisa is overall a safe city. The public transportation is safe (both busses and trains), my only ever unsafe experience was a few months ago on a train when two guys started taking pictures of me, I reported them and the conductor made them leave. I would advise you to be careful during late hours around the train stations (especially stazione centrale), just for safety (it's regarded as the worst neighborhood but it's not that bad tbh). Also, look out for pickpockets!!! Especially near the train station San Rossore, there are a few women who will always try to get in the elevators or will bring umbrellas to create chaos and grab whatever they can from your purses. Aside from that Pisa is overall a pretty safe city, I'm a 20yo girl and I never had any problem. There is no transport during the night but you can rent bicycles, scooters and Pisa is pretty small so you can literally walk anywhere.
