Is Pavia safe for solo female travelers?

My recent trip to Pavia (April, 19)🩷. It was perfect for a day trip. Safe, calm town somewhere in between the medieval charm and modern facilities. We didn’t use transport as we walked around the city and it was manageable. As a food option we went with “All you can eat” that cost 20€/person excluding drinks. It looks like a nice small town, but at night, if you're outside the city center (in places like the train station) you can feel really unsafe. I know about a girl which a man tried to assault in front of the bus station near the train one. I myself experienced some crazy drunk men at the station that provoked me. BUT I feel like if you hang out in the city center there won't be any problem

Pavia is a small city and it's mainly inhabited by students. Overall I feel like it's a pretty safe city, I have never encountered any issue going back home at night by myself or walking and biking around the city even when it's dark.

Pavia is a very safe city. A very low number of people have been attacked here, you can even freely walk in the street during late night or early morning without feeling nervous. However there isn't much nightlife here.

Quite safe during the day. Not very safe in the night, espcially if you aren’t in the center of the city. However public transport is quite safe and alsi the center of the city is quite safe. During the night, i advice to walk with friends and not alone

It is very safe! Walking at night is never scary and streets are well lit! The town has a big city center which makes it very lively and full of people making the environment very friendly and safe. Defiantly a good place to solo travel
