The city is generally safe, the worse part is generally close to the station, both front of it and behind it, but in those areas theres usually police or military to make sure everything is ok. When walking around the station, going over the bridge is better than below
Posted: January 28, 2026Depending on the neighborhood you go to, especially for tourists, the most popular sights are not dangerous at all. As a woman obviously there's always fear to walk alone by night but for where I live, it's quite safe

How safe is Padova for me? Pretty safe, it’s my hometown. Like any city, it has a few areas where I stay more aware (around the train station, some corners of Arcella), but overall I walk, bike, and live here without fear. If you have common sense and know how to read a place, Padova is welcoming, vibrant, and calm. Solo travel feels fine, even at night just choose the right streets.
Posted: July 5, 2025Padua is rather safe city except of station area at night. I have been living hear for six years and have never faced any problems. However I would be cautious at night, just in case, especially near station area.
Posted: June 30, 2025It depends in which area you are, center is safe, arcella is also okay but i dont know the area after arcella. Station is fifty percent safe i usually go faster around there. I dont like using tram. They will steal your bikes whether its locked or not.

Hi! I’m Francesca, but friends call me Fra. I’m 37, Italian, and currently navigating life between motherhood, creativity, e hosting people in homes I’ve shaped with care. I work a lot, think troppo, and lately I’m craving more wild air and women who speak with their eyes. I don’t need luxury, just authenticity: salt on the skin, night talks, light backpacks and real presence. I love small bookstores, dirty sandals, fresh sheets, and humans who know how to listen without interrupting. If you’re planning a weekend escape, a roadtrip, or even a few days by the sea doing nothing but being, I might be your kind of traveler. Sometimes I travel with my 11-year-old son (he’s brilliant), sometimes solo (still figuring out who I am without being needed). Let’s share a sunset, cook something simple, find the quiet kind of fun, or just walk for hours. I believe in kindness, eye contact, a bit of madness, and a lot of freedom. Write me if any of this feels like home. 🌿
