Is Livorno Safe for Solo Female Travelers?

Livorno is generally considered safe for solo female travelers. The majority of locals are respectful and will likely come to help if you're in trouble. That said, like any other tourist destinations worldwide, it's always essential to stay alert and be mindful of your surroundings. Pickpockets can be more common in crowded areas. Following standard travel safety practices such as not flaunting expensive belongings or wandering off to less traveled streets late at night is advisable.

rather safe but still avoid central areas at night especially Piazza della Repubblica. Nightlife is usually in neighborhood Venezia, Via Cambini and depending on the season the seaside Terrazza Mascagni and Baracchina Rossa. You won’t have issues there. You’re free to go pretty much anywhere during the day

Livorno is quite safe overall. You have to avoid certain areas at night, such Piazza dei Mille, Piazza Garibaldi or the train station. Otherwise, and during the day, the level of safety is pretty high.
