I took my mom to Israel in June and we just spent some time with my friends there. We felt safe and people are amazing there. It’s my forth times to go to Ein Gedi and my mom’s first time. There are too many places worthy to explore especially some hidden gems brooks where only locals know. Don’t miss out the warm hummus, fresh fruits, and Arabic coffee in Damascus gate (First shop at entrance of the right ally)
Posted: August 27, 2024I went in 2016, so I felt relatively safe. It was with a large, organized group, so there were other people around at all times. We stayed in a hotel and then mostly explored the city on foot. This city is truly unique and I will never forget my visit. There is so much to explore and admire, the three days we stayed felt insufficient. I would absolutely recommend you visit.
Posted: June 1, 2024In general Israel felt safe and people were super nice and helpful.I've had so much luck to be there before the new situation... even tho day before I came there were rockets attack.Still it felt safe.I've stayed in Tel Aviv wich reminded me kinda experience in Barcelona.happy people playing on the beach... food was really good but in general expensive.after Tel Aviv I've visited Jerusalem and it was magic for me.Western wall is good to visit during weekend at night where you can find only locals.entire area is way nicer than during the day.walking around closed stores felt like in video game =) labyrinth. I also had a chance to go to dead sea.Wich I recommend to be there in the afternoon and go back by the evenings, experience is nice but there is not much to do besides laying in the water. The way from Jerusalem to dead sea is also amazing. I've spend just 4 days in Israel, if I had a chance I would love to come back and visit Eilat as well

Israel was amazing. In every single way. I have never in my life felt safer and statistics back me up. I would be willing to argue that Israel is the safest place in the world for solo women. Although I went with a group of people, many times I would walk at night either alone or with 1-3 other women around my age (18-20) and sometimes even intoxicated and we never once felt in danger from Tel Aviv to Tiberius. Abraham hostels are a super high quality line of hostels and the one in Tel Aviv is the best I’ve stayed at. It has tours, live music, clean rooms/bathrooms and so incredibly safe and inclusive. I cannot recommend Israel enough and I am counting the seconds until I go back. It is so diverse, beautiful and breathtaking.

Jerusalem is a city with great history, so I’ll just make a few recommendations regarding the edperience Cinema hostel is a very friendly enviroment where you can find affordable accomodation. The bakery right in front of it is amazing. Try not to visit the old city on thursday evening because of shabbat. That’s it <3

I was lucky visiting israel before current events (no political comment here.) Probably one of the nicest places i've been. Not like a typical middle eastern city. Some travellers actually say its middle eastern-california lol. I stayed at jungle jaffa hostel and i wont stay anywhere else if i go again. It was one of the main things that made tel aviv such an experience. Old jaffa is a must see and beach is a real gem. They are at the same place already. Everywhere is walking distance. I didnt use uber even once Because airport is accessible too. Only fault about Tel aviv was it wasnt budget friendly... I ate my meals at hostel (which was included during summer) but 50cl beer was around 10 shekel (2.5€), a cocktail at a cheap bar 20 shekel, breakfast with omelette 50 shekel. Other than that Tel aviv is a living city, techno parties last whole weekend, beach is not crowded but alive, population is young and traveler friendly
Posted: January 22, 2024I feel very safe in Israel. The people here are very friendly. It is a very beautiful country filled with history. It is an awesome and wonderful experience to be in such a beautiful country, a country that has been so close to my heart since I was a child.

I felt safe, because I visited my friend who had already lives there for several years. But I’m not sure the feeling would be the same if you visit it by yourself. I was there 5 days and my program was prepared before. I visited Jerusalem in the morning, the sea in afternoon and techno at night. The trip had really tight schedule. It was nice, because we had a car, without it using the local transport it would be impossible. You always can find where to go, because of long history land, full of stories and new impacts. I spent not much money, because I was visiting a friend, that’s why I didn’t need it. But prices are extremely high.
Posted: November 23, 2023We were in Eilat for a few days at the beginning of the year and it was wonderful. We rented a car, we had a great hotel, and we even went diving in February. There were colorful deserts, hills, waterfalls, and the Dead Sea.
Posted: October 15, 2023I traveled alone and felt very safe. The market in Carmel was wonderful, I ate delicious falafel there and it is cheaper than in restaurants. Sarona Market was a bit more expensive, but also nice. I stayed in Abraham Hostel and I have very nice memories from there, as they even organized a communal dinner for Shabbat. Additionally, during Shabbat, public transport does not operate and it is really hard to move around the city.

It really depends on the neighborhood since it's a big city, but I believe most of it is safe. I hang out there a lot and I rarely experienced anything bad, only maybe in the area of the central station, which is old and is known for its reputation with many addicts around
Posted: February 15, 2025Well as far as I found it haven’t experienced any, attack, assault or abuse . For a long time I’m visiting and staying there. It’s really calm , and peaceful and most people I met were super loving and nice! Really friendly!!
