Tel Aviv is usually safe! I would recommend not to walk alone in the night around South Tel Aviv- lot of homeless, junkies and immigrants. Lay attention around the Hagana area, Hatikva neighbourhood and La Gwardia.
Posted: June 18, 2026Pretty safe we are on the middle of a war so if anything acts up, there are sirens …other than that it is a pretty safe city all and all I would say it’s ok there are specific area I wouldn’t hang out at night alone or at all you do need to know and recognize whether it’s a safe place in area or not..

Tel Aviv is very safe. There are some areas where it's advisable not to walk around alone after dark. Petty theft is a thing, but not as common as other big cities around the world. Just stay vigilant and you'll be good 😊
