Is Vadakara safe for solo female travelers?

Vadakara generally is a safe place to travel due to the overwhelming hospitality and respectfulness of the locals. The town is also relatively safe with low crime rates. Locals are known to be helpful and most are able to speak English, which provides easier communication.
