Its safe in day time, but I wouldn't want my girls out at night, unless ofc its the buzzing city side with lots of pubs/cafes/late night open places around. Day time, all is fun and safe! Just look out for shopping prices if you are a tourist! Bargain sweetheart, yes you definitely CAN! (Colaba market)

Mumbai is a city that never sleeps! That can sometimes be a good thing as well as a not so good thing. It’s quite safe compared to many cities in India. Best to avoid staying out and walking through small secluded lanes late at night. Most women are now pro at staying vigilant, irrespective of the time of the day. Take precautions like the right transport, the right area, the right time of the day and the right company… and you will be completely fine.

Mumbai is extremely safe and secure for female solo travellers. But still not recommended to walk late at night around the city.. Locals speak english and will always help you, police stations are nearby too

I am a happy go lucky person. I'm curious, an avid traveller (if my bank balance supports me :P), oversharer, over thinker, and always up for an adventure!
