Is Lucknow safe for solo female travelers?

I really enjoyed my time in Lucknow with my family! I was there visiting a friend for her wedding and her and her family made our experience unforgettable. The hospitality was next level and there's so much to see in Lucknow that we barely had time to rest. Overall I really liked the city.

Lucknow is a metropolitan city, very famous for its food amongst tourists. I would totally recommend coming here. If you’re accompanied by one person also, it should be all okay at all places. I wouldn’t recommend going out in the night

I live in a closed community and belongs to the reputed family hence I feel safe in here. I have never faced any security issue or sexual harrasment in my city ever. I highly recommend this city as it is quite rich in culture and architecture.

Moderate safe, like any other teir 2 or 3 city, depends on the area you are staying in as well, else it is fine mostly, and not very unsafe but be careful nevertheless. Go around and enjoy, it's fine.

Lucknow is the safest place I've ever seen It's not because I live here but I observed people there's culture and this is the city that is known for sweetness ,royalty called nawabi in here's language and feels like home , here's people are very supportive and full of nature and the most famous thing is here good and architectural history but in some markets you have to be alert because of some scams

Moderately safe country of India. If you stay aware of your surroundings and trust your instincts, people are actually lot nicer here than major cities like Delhi. You just need to get used to staring as a foreigner.
