Such a nice trip that longed 3 days . Stayed in a home stay . Homestays are very cheap, they provided homely foood ( whatever we want ) in affordable price.. 
We can't enjoy the  sightseeing very much because of rain. Rain and fog stole the vibe a little bit. But day 3 was sunny .... All The street shops  are waiting there for scamming us ... Bargainers can survive!

Beautiful scenic place with nice weather but overly crowded touristy areas. Some scammers trying to buy to stuff. Rest is good. Food is pricy as per local rates but affordable. Weekends are jam packed

Very safe and the manavannur lake is a must visit. The lake and the village left me speechless with those green mountains surrounding the fresh water lake and the horse riding by the lake is such an amazing experience
