Group travel

So I travelled to kasol with my friends in may 2024. We went from Manali to Kasol on a HRTC bus...which was a long ride but a good experience if you like to experience local things...We booked The hosteller old kasol, Which was a beautiful property, and I instantly fell in love with it...the host ws amazing ( he gifted me a instax reel at the end of our trip, which was a surprise to me), i liked the vibe...And I was looking forward to make friends there ( We had stayed in a hostel in manali and made Friends there too before going to kasol) We were very excited for the born fire, but as soon as I went there and started chatting with people i realised everybody was there for the stuff ( which me and my group didn't do ) so that was disappointing...then we called our new friends from manali who also were in kasol and we had a good time...we went to tosh and Manikaran Sahib and We did lots of shopping...there was a restaurant named Hari Om bhojanalay which had amazing home like north Indian food and the best chocolate muffins...and the beauty of Tosh was unmatched...we found waterfalls with water so clean that we drank it directly. So overall the beauty and the fresh air, and the parvati nadi flowing nearby were very mesmerizing... but If you are someone who doesn't do any drugs / alchohol and stuff then I'd recommend to go with a group, becoz its difficult finding people like that there, Also please be responsible and only by high quality stuff even if you do...because there are lots off sellers there...and I have heard stories of people having no memory of past 2 days and tales like that. Also as a girl if you are travelling solo there, I think the locals are safe but please choose strangers whom you talk to carefully and don't get too high with anyone that you don't trust. But one thing for sure it is a beautiful little town, which deserves to be known more of its beauty than weed, I left my heart there ❤️
