Is Jodhpur safe for solo female travelers?

Jodhpur is generally safe for solo female travelers. As the second-largest city in Rajasthan, it's accustomed to tourists and generally shows an understanding towards female travelers. However, it is advisable to be cautious especially at night as street harassment can occur. Wearing modest clothes and being respectful of local customs can help you avoid unwanted attention. Lastly, always be aware of pickpockets and scammers who target tourists.

Jodhpur was my second city I travelled to, and it seemed to me very safe. Local family gave me advice to get back to home till 10 p.m. so I basically never walked late at night. I also didn't use public transport, only uber bike and tuk tuk. In short I have never had a bad experience there

Jodhpur is pretty safe as long as you don’t go anywhere after dark. Do not flash jewelry or money. Do not drink tap water. Always take Rapido/uber instead of running taxi. Ware clothing that’s not revealing.

Literally just not safe at all. But it does depend on where you’re going and when. If you’re travelling solo I might not recommend. If you’re coming with someone then you’ll have fun. The old city area is fairly safe during the day and you can spend the night in the hotel itself enjoying a folk night as there isn’t much to see in Jodhpur at night anyway. So yeah that’s that.
