Safety at night:Unsafe

As host to historical landmarks and lively markets, Gwalior has much to offer during daytime. However, being a solo female traveler walking alone at night isn't recommended. Although violence isn't commonplace, the streets do become less crowded and quite dark, which might pose safety concerns. It's advisable to return to your accommodation by 8pm, and always use reliable, well-reviewed transport like registered taxis, especially at night. Also, ensure you inform someone, perhaps your hotel's front desk, where you are and what time you expect to return. It's not to say danger lurks around every corner, but taking precautions is sensible.

It's also important to be vigilant about your surroundings, especially during evenings and nights. Adding to the note, GPS is a good option for ensuring the driver follows the correct route.
