Is Ahmedabad safe for solo female travelers?

Really great place!! I went with my college friends for study tour!! The food was great, the places were great highly recommend to visit during navratri and better pack your garba attire for that because you really dont want to miss the navratri life of Ahmedabad

Very safe for women even at night... We can roam around and the place is very much live with multiple activities and yummy food options. You can find good food even at 3 am. Just avoid few areas and you are good to go

As I’m living in Ahmedabad since 5 years now. I’ve felt safe as I’m living in safe area and I’ve never been alone at night or odd times in areas those are not counted as safe. But I’ve heard that there are some areas that is dangerous for women to be alone here.

Ahmedabad is probably the safest city of India. People generally respect girls here. If you are looking to travel around ahmedabad you can either take uber, ola, rapido... Or you can public transport buses , here called AMTS or BRTS. Metro is one of the most convenient option to travel as well.

Ahemdabad is the safest city I know like girls can walk at night safely and night life here is really very great especially if you go to satellite area or riverfront area. I personally really like the night life of ahemdabad as well can roam freely without any worry. But you should carry some safety tools like pepper spray etc. just in case anything happens. But overall it's very safe.

It’s really safe for girls. You can go out till 2 am here and nobody will say a word or stare at you unlike other states in india! I’ve had a few incidents where men helped me late at night, I think Ahmedabad is safe
