Is Pécs safe for solo female travelers?

in the city center there may be sone shady looking people and some may bother you verbally but it is not so common. there are some areas which are not the safest but those are mainly outside of the city center where big block houses are. there is a hill Mecsek and that area is safe almost all of the time. i live around there and i could walk there even in the night unbothered.

pretty safe!! only students who drink too much sometimes can become aggressive, but that’s still better than in Western Europe or Russia from where i come from. Overall I would rate safety as 8/10 for women

I would say the city centre is pretty safe. You can walk alone at night too without worrying about getting kidnapped/harmed. The suburbs are a different story, I wouldn't advise you to walk alone after the sun goes down. But overall I think the city is not dangerous.

Almost good. The downtown is safe. There are only a few, not many intimidating figures. Some parts of the suburbs are not as good anymore. Here, you see more homeless and dubious characters. According to my girlfriend's words, I think it's quite accurate anyway.

Pecs is a really safe city, I have lived here my whole life, i’ve only had some drunk guys calling me out on the main street at night, but they also said sorry after i rejected them. On the outskirts there are some places where i would prefer going with someone, but in the inner city its really chill
