Being in a new city, walking without a plan, laughing freely and meeting new people opened my heart in ways I didn’t know I needed. It reminded me that life expands when you let yourself out there and never let fear control your decisions🫶
Posted: February 10, 2026It was safe fun splendid . Nothing to say really. It’s not expensive at all and not very crowded.the Virgin Mary statue is pretty interesting to check out. Also moskes and ancient structures are worth the visit.
Posted: May 3, 2025I would say that I loved that city a lot , the food was amazing, the people were amazing and above that , it's one of the most beautiful cities in Algeria I stayed at my aunt's house there and it was fun, they have the biggest thrift stores there too But be careful for robbers!!

Safe in many ways, the crime is so low, the law protect very well all nights, the people harmless and friendly and they protect , you can go out day and night without worrying, you will not find strangers.
Posted: September 4, 2025It si safe enough, but l wouldn’t say the safest city in the world. Yoi can get harassed, but things don’t escalate to rape to abuse for sure. Very hospitable people and friendly women all around, so no worriez at all

Oran is the second largest city in Algeria. It has beautiful beaches and European buildings in the city center, but other areas are poor. Most Oranian people are affected by the struggling economy. Oran is not the best, but it's not the worst either. It is a mid-sized city with mixed conditions. Hopefully, someday we can achieve a modern lifestyle like in Eastern countries.
