Posted: September 28, 2025It was safe fun splendid . Nothing to say really. It’s not expensive at all and not very crowded.the Virgin Mary statue is pretty interesting to check out. Also moskes and ancient structures are worth the visit.

I felt completely safe and at home while exploring la CASBAH. I highly recommend trying the haik, a traditional Algerian garment, and kheit errouh jewelry to fully embrace the cultural experience. The view from Stah El-Bahdja is breathtaking, and you can also enjoy delicious traditional food at reasonable prices. There are many historical houses worth visiting, each with its own unique story. I visited "Dar Lallahoum "with my sister and friend, took some pictures, and shared them. I strongly recommend visiting in a group you won’t regret it🥰

Solo travelling when you are the woman is a bit trickier but still possible, dressing modestly is a must here. As I am travelling with a person who speaks Arabic travelling is so much easier. Most people speak French, English just touristy areas.
