Overall, the city is pretty safe, especially downtown but on the contrary, at night, it is not. As a local, I know where not to go at and what time to avoid problems. It is highly recommended for women to at least get a guide to show them around.
Posted: December 24, 2024It's fairly safe at day at night in winter for women it won't be as safe as in summer Public transportation is present but you have to be aware of pickpockets and at times a day it can be backed usually around 4 pm
