Safe. Beautiful. Affordable. You will enjoy your time. It's better to stay in the capital near the transport links. Bank cards aren't frequently used, so it's preferable to bring cash or exchange money upon arrival in Algeria. You're very welcome.

Algiers is at a moderate level of safety. I wouldn’t advise staying out at night, because there are chances that you can be sexually harassed by men & keep an eye on your phone & wallet when strolling out.
Posted: October 26, 2024Algiers is an overall safe city. There are however some precautions to take especially in certain areas, it’s a Muslim country so it’s better to avoid light clothing. Nonetheless, during the day it’s completely okay to stroll especially downtown, however at night it’s better to be accompanied.

Hey !!! 😆 I'm Yamina from Algiers! At 23 and still a student, I'm all about making mistakes to figure out who I am and explore myself ! Hahaha . I'm a travel enthusiast, art lover, and always up for discovering new places. Wandering the streets and soaking up the sun are my jams. Music is my constant companion; I listen to it all the time and adore attending concerts.
