Savannah, located in the southeastern state of Georgia in the United States, is a city known for its rich history, picturesque landscapes, and southern charm. Renowned for its well-preserved antebellum architecture, the city is sprinkled with majestic mansions and historic squares, such as Forsyth Park, a large urban park in the heart of the historic district. At the riverfront, one can enjoy stunning views, as well as numerous restaurants and shops. The city is also home to the Mercer Williams House Museum, famous from the novel and movie "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil." Lastly, Savannah is celebrated for its ghost tours which serve as fascinating, if not eerie, paths through the city’s tumultuous past, making it a must-visit destination for both history enthusiasts and nature lovers alike.

I felt safe during the day in the main river walk area. After nightfall I likely wouldn’t walk alone away from that area and chose an Uber to get back to where I was saying. Overall beautiful place with rich history but would be vigilant away from the populated areas.
