Hi my name is Athena and I'm visiting Belgium for the first time to volunteer on local organic farms! I love having language exchange and cultural exchange experiences! I also love the idea of this women-supported community that can bring people off other social media and reduce services like Airbnb that drive up local housing prices.

About me

Hello! My name is Carsen and I’m a busy professional LA native living in Van Nuys in the San Fernando Valley, about 25 minutes from LAX (one very convenient bus called the Flyaway goes from LAX to Van Nuys just down the street from me). I have a very large but incredibly friendly dog, a cat, and live in a house. I have a boyfriend who stays over on weekends, so if you’re here over a weekend he may be around. He has two little dogs that come with him. I'm a veteran solo traveler - I took my first solo trip at 18 and have taken many since. Traveling alone has been one of the most liberating experiences of my adulthood and I'm glad to find a community that values that too 🥹 I take a month off every summer and try to find new places to go. I am hoping to find friends in new cities and make memories!
