About me

I’m a high school language teacher, and although I’m older, I have a youthful attitude. I like to meet new people, try new food, and learn something new as I explore new places. I prefer spending longer times in 1 place rather than a day or two in many places. Plain and simple. I love to host visitors and take them around, too.

About me

Hi! I consider myself a lifelong learner picking up (sometimes unpractical) hobbies and interests! I enjoy poetry and appreciate the 90s video aesthetic. I studied Political Economy and am working in interdisciplinary research on the Reification of the Image and Democraftic Architecture. I'd like to work in some area of community development or involvement and enjoy how meeting new people widens that perspective :-)

Is United States safe to travel?

Santa Fe, Solo travel

very safe, sooo much art and downtown is beautiful. Native American. people are very kind. its very expensive to live nonetheless worth the visit. There is an outdoor vibe. hiking and camping. swimming in the lakes and hot springs. the opera and great dining .

Is United States worth visiting?

Olympic National Park, Group travel

I was traveling solo to Seattle and SF for a week before meeting up with my cousin in Portland, and I thought I’d visit some national parks while I was in PNW. I had wanted to go to Mt. Rainier originally but it wasn’t the right time of year, so I went to Olympic National Park instead through a tour group. It was so beautiful, the air was so fresh and clean, the sandwiches at the market you stop at were surprisingly good (with veg options!), and I quickly formed a group with 3 other solo travelers. I would highly recommend.

New York, Solo travel

My experience in New York was wonderful. I highly recommend going at least once and visiting places like the Statue of Liberty, Times Square, and the Summit Observatory. It has an incredible view. And the iconic Central Park, you can't miss it.
