My partner and I stayed with his family who live here. There are lots of nature walks to go on, we especially went for lots of nice walks in the Leighton area up Long Mountain. The town is nice and quaint. Pavements are sometimes a bit small but overall a good experience. You can go to Powys Castle National Trust, which has become my favourite National Trust location as of late, the state home and the gardens are really lovely and well maintained.
