I lived in italy for a year so I am almost fluent in italian, just trip up a bit when talking fast but understand everything. really want to improve my french as I feel as I have lost it since I finished studying. Hello! Currently, I’m on my gap year working as a waitress and cleaner to save up to go travelling in East Africa from May-July 2026. At the moment, I am planning my trip solo, however, I would love to go with somebody else or a group of people who are like-minded, not only because I think it would be safer, but also because I think it would be so much more fun and enjoyable! Is United Kingdom safe for women?
Berkshire
Around Berkshire generally is 50/50. Anything can happen. Some people can end up in trouble but it’s down to you in the end. Most streets are similar some a lot nicer than others. Just be alert like you would going to any other county/city/town. There are some really nice areas, Wokingham/Finchampstead as well as parts of Caversham or areas around Windsor that can be quite pleasant. Whereas towns like Reading or Slough can be a bit more rough.

Amazing here It's really good I can't understand how I could possibly write 200 words about how safe my local town is? It's safe? It's on the moors not much happens here? I don't know what else to write to be honest.
