Solo travel
Except one encounter i generally felt very safe in Lienz. I can recommend visiting Tristacher lake and the Dolomitenhütte as well as Karlsbader Hütte. In my opinion the food was better outside of town, as an example at Marinellis or Dolomiten-Waldschenke in Amlach. I stayed at a friends house so I can't say much about hotels or public transportation.
