About me

Hi my name is Shani (Shaynee), I’m a very young minded 59 year-old single woman living in Las Vegas. I was a radio announcer for over 20 years and toured the country as a public speaker, so warning I come by my big mouth honestly😆. So obviously I love live music, sporting events, comedy shows, strip shows…wait that sounds bad, I mean shows on The Strip like Cirque du Soleil etc.😂, enjoying the beautiful desert landscape like red rock Canyon, I live only 15 minutes from there! I love to travel so last year I started dog sitting my way around the world🤣. I’ve met some amazing women while I was overseas that have become dear friends and I continue to grow my international tribe! I can’t say I’m the best tour guide for Las Vegas but I’ll do my best! If I’m around and you’d like to get together I’m happy to meet up and show you that not everything in Las Vegas is about gambling🤷‍♀️

About me

Hi! I am a U.S. traveler looking for places to stay around the world. I am originally from Las Vegas so I enjoy a good city but as I have gotten older, I enjoy more adventure and time in nature. I like to spend my time trying quality food, art, explorations, and of course, meeting new people! I also love cooking, staying active and being spontaneous. I am very outgoing as long as I am well rested (definitely need my beauty sleep.) I enjoy respectful relationships where we can be honest about our needs/ expectations while enjoying our time together by helping each other out & sharing our cultures. I am more than happy to help with your English and introduce some of my culture with whoever I stay with. I am learning French always but I plan to learn the basics of the local language wherever I find myself. I am SO excited to explore and can’t wait to meet likeminded individuals 🫶🏼

Is Las Vegas safe for women?

I thought Las Vegas is safe, because there's no much to see on the Citizen app. For women, we should know that citizen app shows many pedophiles in Las Vegas, so even if you're over 18/21, but look younger, you should be careful. The high risk of becoming a victim of human trafficking is worrying, so stay away of drugs, as men pretend to want to become your lovers, when in reality they are just gangsters who think women are stupidly weak in believing their "sweet" lies. Besides pedophiles, there were people killed around me and I was harassed and followed on the streets by Mexicans, which im suspecting are mafia Mexican cartel. My advice is that's not worth visiting Vegas, it's just a city with a street that has some fake me buildings similar to Europe and Egypt, some casinos were nobody wins money, and that's all. The rest is a pretty boring city, full with weird people, extremely hot 🔥, dessert weather.

Overall if you keep situational awareness in Las Vegas you’re fine. If you’re on the strip be aware of pig pockets and people trying to scam you out of money. Physical assault is pretty rare, just don’t get out of control, never leave your drink unattended… Use your head
