About me

Hi there! I am a TV reporter and current traveling journalist working my way around the world. Right now I’m heading to Kenya for three months and traveling around east Africa while doing a freelance project with the Maasai Tribe and shooting stories I find along the way! Before this trip, I made a spontaneous move to Hawaii, visited Australia for a month and recently scuba dived in Tulum, Mexico. I’m a huge mermaid, love the beach and scuba dive, snorkel and free dive. Also love nature, hikes, wildlife, adventuring, trying anything once and dancing up a storm. As a TV reporter I have a lot of photography experience and love taking pictures and videos. I enjoy meeting and getting to know locals and local parts of town when I travel. I love animals and offer pet sitting and dog sitting for a place to stay when traveling!

About me

Hi, I'm a middle school teacher who sometimes goes travelling on her own. Open to sharing advice, activities booking, meeting up for a chat, etc. I'm finding a lot of activities in SE Asia require two people for a join-in tour; I would love to partner with someone for some of those!

Is Honolulu safe for women?

O'ahu is generally a safe place. I feel very safe taking public transportation and mostly safe going hiking alone or to secluded beaches. I'm careful about not leaving valuables in my car or unattended at a beach. People are usually really friendly and will definitely help in an emergency.
