Is Delaware safe for women?

Delaware is a suburban area in the top-third of the state and relatively safe outside of the city of Wilmington. Avoid the city if you are a woman alone; it is not safe. Downstate it’s safe for travelers and the crime is limited to border towns away from coastal areas.
