Hi, hallo, sali, bonjour :) I currently live in Ann Arbor MI, USA. I am both swiss and american, grew up in Switzerland (Fribourg) but am now studying at the University of Michigan (dual degree dance and molecular bio). If you are travelling through Michigan I am happy to help you out and maybe even offer/find a place for you to stay. And if you are travelling in Switzerland I can definitely help out/make suggestions and find friends and family that could host you. Looking forward to meeting you :)

I am an avid traveler recently came to the US to pursue my PhD in psychology in University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. I like having coffee chats and just wandering as a fleneur around cities. Is Ann Arbor safe for women?
Fairly safe college town. There are reports on campus of sexual harassment after hours, so always travel with a buddy if you are on the outskirts of the downtown area (this only happens Off Campus in more remote areas). If you stay on campus, you are safe. Some populations downtown have been known to yell at passersby, but this is rare.
