Hi! I’m Maristel. I’m from Peru, but I currently live in Manchester, UK🇬🇧 I work in marketing, and I recently finished a master’s degree in sustainability. I love traveling and creating connections with people from around the world🌎 Something I love about this continent (Europe) is the diversity of the people living here💛It’s amazing to see how good connections can be formed among individuals from very different countries, cultures, religions, etc. I think that’s beautiful! Even though I’m very new in Manchester, I’m happy to give advice to travelers coming here or to the UK in general :)

Hellooooo I’m Kelly and originally from Hong Kong but now on a working holiday in the UK and have moved to Manchester since 2025. I don’t really have any goals in life or a particular passion for anything so i’m always just wandering around by myself to see what really sparks my interest. Currently I’m into photography but very amateur, and also gardening i’m planting some strawberries and they are growing very well:)) Oh I also like music and movies, i know everyone has a Slipknot phase but i’m still in mine, i used to work in a cinema as an usher just to take a sneak peek at the new movies during breaks, love me Ghibli, my favourite animes of all time are Fullmetal Alchemist and Evangelion (I know pretty basic but based) My native language is Cantonese but I’m also fluent in Mandarin and English, know a bit of Japanese and Spanish which I definitely want to be more fluent! Also i love the cartoon show Moomin, it’s my dream to visit Finland and see them in Moomin World, maybe i can meet Santa Claus as well :)) I’m planning to travel around the UK and Europe before my 26th birthday in November so look forward to seeing you all beautiful faces xx

Hi, my name is Ellie and I’m from a village half way between Manchester and Liverpool in the UK. I live in New Hampshire, US from Sept- early May for university. I currently study environmental science and international politics 🇬🇧🇺🇸 I’m an avid trail runner and I love to explore places via running solo or finding a running group there- I especially love coastal and mountain runs. My favourite way to relax is to sit in nature to read romance novels or write poetry and I will never say no to a cappuccino, hot chocolate or matcha at a cute cafe. I love trying local food- my favourite cuisines are Greek (I love mousaka), Brazilian, Japanese teppanyaki, Mexican, Italian and traditional Indian. I’m not a drinker but I do love a good jazz bar, a lively restaurant atmosphere with good music, or even a party with karaoke. I also love to be active- whether that’s rock climbing, water-sports, badminton or swimming in the sea. I’m always up for an adventure and my favourite trips have been the most craziest such as quad biking in the Turkish desert, running up Rocacorba in Girona. I’m 1/4 polish (although my grandmother forgot how to speak polish from a young age) and I definitely want to visit at some point and maybe even look into learning the language and applying for a polish passport in the future 🇵🇱. I love learning languages but sometimes I may be a little nervous to speak them due to my dyslexia even though I can understand mostly. I am also hoping to go on an inter-railing trip through Europe at some point: I have a few places on my bucket list so far: the UN in Geneva, the Dolomites.

Hello! I'm Jess, from Wales via Manchester! I'm into music, hiking, nature, and general good times. I'm currently in Koh Tao in Thailand, exploring and doing my diving qualification - planning to go to North Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, and Vietnam over the next 6 months or so. Hoping to find somewhere I can settle for a month or two, meet wonderful people, and have unforgettable experiences! I'm a lightweight digital nomad, I work for a day or two a week if anyone would like to work together (finding it hard to get motivated). Otherwise I would love to meet for drinks or dinner, swims, parties, coffees - I'm pretty sociable and outgoing but also enjoy chilling out. Hope to meet you soon!

Is Manchester safe for women?
It's safe during the day. But it is still a big city so at night you have to be aware of your surroundings and not walk alone at night unless its a busy space. As long as your careful you will be fine
