About me

Hi! I'm Sarah, I'm 22 and from Philadelphia, but I have lived in Edinburgh for 4 years whilst I study art history at the uni here! I am moving back to the US in September, so I am planning lots of solo trips this summer to make the most of being in Europe! I am super chill and flexible in regards to planning trips, I love to hike and be outside but also visit museums and historical sites! I am very happy to show people around or host if needed if anyone is interested in visiting Edinburgh!🥰

About me

A little about me: I live in the gorgeous Edinburgh, where I work as a project manager. In my spare time, you'll find me playing Tag Rugby, dancing (Salsa, Bachata, Commercial, and Jazz), or baking far too much. I absolutely love meeting new people and having great chats over a coffee (or something stronger...). When I travel, I love to immerse myself in the local culture. I enjoy meeting new people and learning about their life. Trying local food is a must for me – from street food to something more fancy, I'm always up for a culinary adventure. I'm also keen on discovering any unusual activities or hidden gems that aren't in the typical tourist guides. Whether it's a quirky museum, a unique local tradition, or an off-the-beaten-path hike, I’m all in for a bit of adventure. If you’re interested in meeting up, please drop me a message. Cheers and chat soon ☺️ Rebekah

Is Edinburgh safe for women?

Sara

As with all cities you should be aware of your surroundings and keep purse, phone etc close to you. Police aren't very visible on the street but there are always people close by, be it in a shop, or a bus driver so you don't feel alone.

Edinburgh is generally very safe, of course like anywhere it is not completely risk free but I feel safe to be alone at night and will use public transport alone at night. I have no experience of being approached or harassed.
