Is Tenerife safe for women?

Sometimes the city arent big or the bus stops dont have a time table. So you might feel a but incure if ypure at the right place or when exactly the bus is coming. Not always sidewalks, genereally not great to walk big distances. But do far everyone was very friendly.

You can walk with valuable jewellery or smartphone safely almost in every place of the island. There are some places such as el Fraile, San Isidro, Añaza or La cuesta (neighbourhood) that are a little less safe if you are not a local and you go there during the evening or night, but nothing serious in comparison to other "not that safe" places of Europe. In general you feel safe and welcomed. Locals are very kind.
