Expat Women in Barcelona

We are a friendly community of international women living in Barcelona who connect and make friends. We welcome expats, students who study abroad, Erasmus participants, and anyone living far from home.

About me

I am an introvert, open-minded, and creative person :) I like conversations which go beyond smalltalk. I like learning new things, I try to travel whenever I can, I am interested in languages and I am passionate about my work as a music teacher. Let me know if you need a place to stay in Barcelona! I can't guarantee that I'm free, but maybe it works out :)

I have lived in a few different places and known lots of lovely people everywhere 🌸✨ I have many different interests, such as languages, history, art, computer science, videogames... I love DIY, roller skating and exercising; right now I'm pretty proud of myself for going to the gym every day 💪🏻

I’m a huge fan of traveling, learning about other cultures/languages, dancing and cooking. About me

I would define myself as a curious person. I've always wanted to see the World, to discover new places and expand my horizons. I consider myself very lucky as I could travel a lot the last years and have different experiencies abroad. This helped me to open my mind, to learn new languages and have expriencies outside my comfort zone. I love music and sports, have a chil time with a beer and good music, I love nature and walks or treks. I am open to meet people, to live new experiencies and share stories that all of us have! :) I am new in this app, but I hope it will be a good resource to keep travelling and meeting people! Thanks!

I speak Catalan, Spanish, English and I'm currently learning Japanese (it's difficult but it's fun!)

Is Barcelona safe for women?

I can freely walk at night by myself without feeling uncomfortable, I can be by myself or with friends, going for a run or after drinks and it's always okay. The only thing to be wary about is a few neighbourhoods or even just a few streets and alleys that have homeless drug addicts but even then there isn't a real danger.

Its a relatively safe city, I do recommend to stay away from Raval at night as it does get quite creepy but in my opinion the city is very safe you just have to avoid touristic hotspots at night, if you explore taking that in mind you will definitely enjoy it
