Is Granada safe for women?

it’s really safe you can walk at night and majority of people are students and young people so it’s fine. you should be fine at most when going with friends so overall it’s fine. granada is very safe and cool
Posted: August 19, 2025Granada is pretty safe!! is one of the safest cities in Spain, even if it's night you can do whatever you want alone, you don't have to worry. Like every city you have to be careful, always, but I live in here since 2020 and I've never experienced something bad.

I have lived here my whole life, overall the city is super safe except for some neighborhoods like Almanjayar(which I would avoid at all cost) I have walked to my home at all hours of the night and experienced catcalling twice. Overall quite safe, though I would still pay attention. Being a woman is hard
Posted: July 10, 2025granada is a place full of tourists, even at night, so it feels very safe. besides some few homeless people who interact with u, there's nothing to worry about. it's a beautiful city with so many wonderful places to visit. i totally recommend it. + the bars are amazing, always finding good offers on chupitos 😉
