Is Spain safe for women?

Madrid

it’s very safe, only you have to be careful in the subway with your stuff because there are people that keep your things and you even saw them, there are very careful to steal your phone or your wallet

Getxo

Getxo is absolutely safe to go. Especially the districts las arenas, Algorta and neguri. Romo is good as well. You can come home at night walking from the metro without being afraid. But always lock you bike, if possible, inside.
