About me

Heyyyy! I’m Irene, a 24-year-old licensed psychologist from the sunny south of Spain ☀️🇪🇸🌊 I loooooove getting to know different cultures and traditions, I literally plan my trips around that! I usually travel solo but stay at the homes of international friends I’ve met during past adventures. You’ll see some of them (Polish, Brazilian, Italian, Japanese, German, etc) in my profile pics, either when I was visiting them or when they came to Spain and I played tour guide I usually explore the city on my own during the day while my friends are at uni or working, so I’d love to meet new people who’d like to show me around! 👀👀👀 I would love to meet locals via this app while traveling and to truly understand a country from the locals perspective. So don’t be shy, text me! I’m always down for a coffee, a beer, or whatever plan you have in mind ☕🍻 And if you ever come to my city, I’d LOVE to show you around too! :))))

Is Cadiz safe for women?

I would say it's as safe as any small city. Of course, like anywhere else, you should be cautious when walking alone at night, but overall, I think it's a great destination for solo travelers. Most areas in the city are equally safe, but if you're going to the beach alone, just be a bit more careful so you don't get your things stolen. You can always ask someone nearby to keep an eye on your bag while you go for a swim. There aren’t pickpockets here, not even during carnival, but if you leave your stuff unattended at the beach for too long, there’s a chance someone might take it.
