Hi, I‘m Laura and I love to travel! I lived in Berlin my whole 20s and am now happily in Bilbao since 2022. I love the beach, nature and animals, good food and cocktails, warm weather and sunsets. My favorite thing is to travel around for longer time with a backpack or sailing. In this mode I have been to Thailand & Laos, travelled solo for 6 months from the Caribbean over Cuba, Mexico. Guatemala to Columbia. My last long trip was to Brazil with my husband. But I also continue traveling solo or with other women.

Is Bilbao safe for women?
In most areas Bilbao is super safe. I travel alone as a girl and Bilbao is safe both day and night. There is one neighbourhood that is a bit more unsafe though and that are the streets around San Francisco. So I wouldn’t go there alone, especially at night. If google maps takes you there, take another way.
