Hi I'm an Australian singer-singwriter and expat wife. I came to Göttingen over 2 years ago because my husband (Ecuadorian) found work at the university here. Before coming to Germany we were in Ecuador for a year and a half. I love meeting people from different countries and cultures, and networking with other artists. Is Gottingen safe for women?

You can walk on the streets any time of the day/night. Go on walks, hikes... The city is small but well active thanks to a large student community and a big university campus. The train station is also safe as it resides in the center of the town and police is always there.
