Heyo! Im Claudia and I’m currently travelling for the next year(started in May 2024). I’m a youth social worker back home in Vancouver, BC and I love a good chat, going out dancing or eating all the yummy food. As I’m away from home right now I wouldn’t be able to host but I’ll be happy to do so after this trip around the sun:)

Is New Westminster safe for women?
There is an increased presence of people experiencing addiction and/or unhoused individuals near transit hubs that can be unpredictable. As in any urban environment, do not leave personal belongings unattended or in plain sight in your vehicle as a target for thieves. I walk from the skytrain to my house about 10 minutes away at night without fearing for my safety.
