Is Canmore safe for women?

Canmore is very safe, I have never been so much as cat called. The public transit is not well used, but very safe even if you are by yourself or there are few people on the bus. I also feel very safe at night, it is a quiet town when the sun goes down. As well, I never feel any fear of being mugged, even if I show signs of wealth or have just recently visited an ATM.
