About me

Hi, I'm Diana, I live alone with my 8 year old son in a 2 bedroom apartment. My son usually sleeps with me, so I have his bedroom free for guests. I'm a big fan of making big efforts to unify us woman in a tight knit community as it shoold be. Women supporting woman is so powerful. I used to love traveling and have been to quiet alot if places, but have not really done any traveling for way too long. Coming out of a bad marriage, rediscovering myself, I would love to travel again and show my son how beautiful this can be. I love music, dancing, endless talks and deepdives, cats, dogs, horses, I'm a neurodivergent mom of a neurodivergent kiddo. Love connecting to people who are neurodivergent themselves.

About me

Hey my name is Karen, I’m currently travelling through Germany with the Deutschland ticket for the month May wanting to see new places. In my free time I love to puzzle 🧩 usually never smaller then 1000 pieces. Biggest one today I have ever done is 6000. I like reading fantasy books, also light novels. I like going figure skating and inline skating (used to do that with my dog, now sadly just me) I like drinking 😂 mostly coffee (not really into alcohol, never been drunk will have to try that once 🤪 maybe) Also I don’t smoke. I’m always up for playing board games or going out for a coffee ☕️

About me

Hi! I'm a busy student at the University of Ghent. Animals are my passion, more specifically horses. I enjoy loads of little projects and social activities. As a board member of a student organisation, I love to spend my evenings with friends in the city, doing activities or organising them. My hobbies and interests are very broad, from caring for my horse, to poledancing or ballroom dancing, to crocheting or reading a book (these last two are less prominent these days due to my busy schedule unfortunately). Travelling has always had a special place in my heart, I work hard throughout the year to finance my little trips with friends. More than 5 months spent without travelling makes me go crazy!🤪 Italy has a very special place in my heart and tends to be my go-to destination when I need an escape from daily life in Ghent!

Is Belgium safe for women?

Kortrijk

Kortrijk is a really safe city. I was born there and never felt unsafe. It is not that big and so you can do everything by bike without feeling unsafe. At night I already cycled home alone a lot and it didn´t feel unsafe.

Leuven

since its a little student city so ive not heard or encountered any disrupt within Leuven? Maybe i have heard that at night there are a few times girls walking down the street getting catcalled by old people but that only happened once as far as i know. Overall, Leuven is by far the safest city i know in Belgium.
