Alex
Very safe city. Of course there are areas to avoid and always better to be with someone at night. Specifically Kennedy plaza and the northwest area can be a bit dodgy at night. But I jog alone at night and feel just fine.
Posted: March 30, 2024It is a small city and there is generally not too much to do. I studied there. Altough I was advised against, it is safe to walk around, even though the city is not very walkable in terms of sidewalks. It is not too budget-friendly, but not worse than in other parts of the US. It is safe to use public transport, I recommend the Wave app.
