Hello everyone, Torquay is a very diverse place with superb, safe areas and neighborhoods such as St Marychurch or Babbacombe where you can walk around in the dark without any problem. I have been living here for three years and have never had any problems. The Torquay harbor side is also a very nice area. However, there is another side to Torquay Town, which is a less desirable area, known for its drug problems, where you might encounter some issues after dark. I would not recommend walking there by yourself when it's dark. All other areas and neighborhoods around are very safe.
