Skipton is a relatively safe area. I often walk alone at night with no concern for me safety (aside from general concerns being a woman). I would happily approached most people in the street if I needed help with anything. I rarely get cat called, if ever, and I’ve live there my whole life. I would be quick to recommend Skipton as a safe area to be.
